Recently, I had the honor of photographing Amanda and her husband, Chris, for their couples boudoir session at IronVeil Boudoir, and their chemistry was absolutely magnetic from the moment they stepped into the studio.

A Soft and Playful Start

Every couples boudoir session begins with a warm-up, and Amanda and Chris slipped into it effortlessly. We started with a light, playful look with soft lighting, gentle posing, and expressive interactions. This phase is perfect for helping couples laugh, touch, and reconnect without pressure.


The goal is simple. To get comfortable being intimate in front of the camera. For Amanda and Chris, it didn’t take long! You could feel the genuine affection between them in every moment.

Shifting Into Sensual Boudoir

Once they were loosened up, we transitioned into a more sensual boudoir aesthetic. The lighting shifted from airy and soft to dramatic and moody, adding depth and shadow to enhance the atmosphere. This simple change instantly transformed the session into something deeper and more intimate.


Their body language changed too. Movements were slower, there was deeper eye contact, along with softer touches. It was beautiful to witness a couple fall into their natural rhythm of closeness.
